Brownsville Farms is offering a rare chance to step into a high-performing farming operation with a proven farm system with the flexibility to take on a role as either Contract Milker or Farm Manager, depending on your experience and ambition. This is a genuine opportunity to lead a large-scale dairy business backed by supportive owners.

About the Farm

Brownsville Farms is a long-standing family farming business located on Campbell Road, Morrinsville. The 147ha rolling farm is milking 680 cows and consistently producing 300,000 kgMS.

The system is high input, well-structured and supported by strong infrastructure, including herd homes, modern assets and three houses on farm—one of which is a near-new three-bedroom home. The existing team includes a 2IC, Herd Manager and Farm Assistants, all contributing to a capable and established on farm operation.

Production, feed utilisation and efficiency sit at the heart of how the farm runs. Consultants are actively involved, and the owners value good reporting and open communication to keep the system performing at a high level.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who can lead the day-to-day farming, develop and support their team, and keep strong lines of communication with both the owners and advisors. You'll be someone who understands high-input systems, values consistent performance and enjoys creating structure and momentum on farm.

Whether you step in as Contract Milker or Farm Manager, you will bring:

About the Role

This is a hands-on opportunity managing the daily farming operation. The owners are supportive and available for advice when required. Your role is to run the farm, lead the team and drive performance. You'll manage feed, animals, people and reporting and ensure the farm stays on track.
