We're on the hunt for an experienced, down-to-earth logistics professional who knows their stuff and loves what they do. The person you'll be replacing has left big shoes to fill — so we're not just looking for anyone. About the Role

In this role, you'll take ownership of import and export shipments from booking right through to completion — no passing it on to someone else. You'll be the go-to person managing freight cost analysis, quotes, documentation, and day-to-day communication with Customs, MPI, shipping lines, transport operators, and clients.

You'll also:

  • Manage shipments end-to-end — import and export
  • Analyse freight costs and prepare accurate quotes
  • Liaise with Customs, MPI, shipping lines, and transport operators
  • Work closely with our internal teams (transport, customer service, distribution, imports/exports)
  • Keep clients updated and handle any issues that come up
  • Stay on top of documentation and compliance requirements
  • Keep an eye on global trade changes, service updates, and market opportunities
  • Handle invoicing and weekly reporting

Who You Are

You're an experienced freight forwarder who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being part of a supportive team. You take ownership of your work, have great attention to detail, and can stay calm and collected when things get hectic.

You'll fit right in if you are:

  • Highly experienced in international freight forwarding
  • Confident using Cargowise – this is a must
  • Organised, analytical, and forward-thinking
  • Great at multitasking and managing your workload
  • A clear communicator with an easy-going, can-do attitude
  • Mature, professional, and approachable
  • Someone who enjoys helping others and being part of a team that looks out for each other

What You'll Need

  • Strong understanding of international trade, customs procedures, and documentation
  • Solid knowledge of shipping and INCO terms
  • Hands-on experience with Cargowise (non-negotiable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English (extra languages a bonus but not essential)
