About you:

We have an exciting opportunity available to join our team as a dynamic and customer-focused Quoting/Estimating Administrator. We're looking for someone with estimating experience in a similar industry, perhaps with a manufacturing or engineering background. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with technical drawings and demonstrated pricing experience. You'll also be a highly proficient MS Office suite user with advanced Excel skills.

As this is a customer-focused role, you'll need to possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to wide range of stakeholders, from customers to area sales managers, office and factory team members.

About the role:

This won't be your average estimating role. While you'll need to have the technical-side nailed down, this is a customer-focused position, so there'll also be the requirement to coordinate with our remote sales managers and production team, handling customer enquiries, ensuring an effective process for quoting and taking responsibility for jobs from quoting through to completion.

You'll do this through providing timely and accurate quotations, liaising directly with customers to gain an understanding of their requirements and providing appropriate pricing in accordance with Real Steel's pricing policy and strategy.

This is an office-based role located in Ashburton alongside our world-class steel processing factory. Hours of work are full-time, Monday to Friday. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
