Account Executive

Posting Description:
**The Opportunity**

Our Ashburton branch currently has an opening for an Account Executive to join the team. This is a newly created role due to growth and can be based out of any of our Canterbury offices - Ashburton, Rangiora, Christchurch or Timaru.

This role would see you responsible for the day-to-day servicing and growth of an existing portfolio of mainly domestic lines. As a key point-of-contact, you will engage with a broad range of people. This is a great stepping-stone for a professional looking to either, develop their existing broking skills, or gain a deeper understanding of the broking / insurance sector. Development and support will be provided, enabling you to continue down a successful career path within Aon.

**You would be responsible for**:

- Relationship management of an existing client base
- Providing fit for purpose insurance solutions for existing and new clients.
- Managing client quotes and renewals
- Liaising with our Claims Specialist Team for our clients claims needs
- Preparing policy schedules, client presentations, and reports
- Working with clients’ insurance providers, law firms, and external vendors
- Supporting ad-hoc branch duties alongside the wider team.

**About you**

You could have a background in Administration & Customer Service with a passion for putting the customer first and going the extra mile.

**To hit the ground running, you should have**:

- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver high standards of customer service
- A great team player with the ability to get along with a wide variety of people
- Computer proficiency with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word).
