Service Deli Supervisor – New World Wanaka

We are seeking a motivated and passionate foodie who has experience leading a team and is looking for their next challenge.

New World Wanaka is 100% locally owned and operated and is committed to providing our customers with a fantastic range of fresh product every day. We are seeking an individual who is a great team leader and who thrives working in a fast-paced seasonal environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered
  • Managing and supervising team members
  • Food planning, preparation, production and presentation
  • Food Safety and Health & Safety
  • Assisting with ordering stock and liaising with suppliers
  • Supporting the seafood team

To be a good fit for this role you will be able to:

  • Supervise and manage a busy and diverse team
  • Effectively communicate with a diverse range of people
  • Be competent using computer programs – SAP experience is ideal
  • Assist with the management of food safety and health and safety
  • Have a proven background in food production and cooking, as we make an extensive range of in-house products.

The shifts for this role are Sunday to Thursday 12.45pm to 9.15pm.
