Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Production Team Leader role at Nutritech International Limited, based in Mangere. Reporting directly to the National Operations Manager the Production Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing production planning, managing manufacturing operations, ensuring quality control, and supporting overall production management. The role involves coordinating with various teams to optimize operations and maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of factory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management to create a daily production plan, satisfying Daily, weekly and monthly customer orders.
  • Translate production plans into daily schedules and ensure targets are met.
  • Monitor progress and adjust workflows as needed to maintain output and quality.
  • Supervise and support production staff to ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and housekeeping checks are completed, and standards are maintained on the factory floor.
  • Identify daily bottlenecks or inefficiencies and apply practical changes to meet plans.
  • Communicate effectively with National Operations Manager, inventory, and dispatch team to maintain smooth operations.

Skills and Experience

  • Skills in Production Planning and Production Management
  • Experience in Quality Control and ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Expertise in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage operations effectively
  • Experience in the animal nutrition or related industry is an advantage
