Assets Team – Te Rūnanga o Kirikiriroa
Te Rūnanga o Kirikiriroa is a kaupapa Māori organisation based on a whānau-first, tikanga-based, wellbeing approach. Our organisation works to a model of care centred around our pou (guiding principles) of whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, arohatanga, rangatiratanga, tika and pono. We deliver health and social services across the lifespan and have a team of over 100 people working across Hamilton city and beyond.
About the Role
We are seeking an Inventory and Logistics Support staff member to join our Assets team. This role is essential to ensuring that equipment, tools, and supplies are received, stored, tracked, and delivered accurately and on time to services across the organisation. This full-time role has working hours from 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.
You'll be responsible for managing stock, coordinating deliveries, maintaining accurate records in our asset management system, and ensuring safe storage and handling of goods. At times, you will also drive vehicles and trailers to move items between sites, supporting the efficient flow of resources that enable our frontline teams to deliver services to whānau.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and dispatch goods and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records in SPM, including registers and audits.
- Organise and store inventory safely for easy access and efficient space use.
- Coordinate deliveries with couriers, suppliers, and internal services
- Drive organisational vehicles and trailers to transport goods between sites.
- Follow health and safety requirements, reporting hazards and incidents.
- Escalate asset repair, replacement, or warranty needs promptly.
- Support the wider Assets team with store and logistics-related tasks.
- Uphold kaupapa Māori values and integrate Te Ao Māori principles into daily mahi.

Skills
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Practical experience with stock management or logistics processes.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and trailers.
- Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers, couriers, and kaimahi.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and records.
- Commitment to safe work practices and compliance standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in logistics, inventory, warehousing, or asset management is preferred.
- Experience working in kaupapa Māori or values-driven organisations is an advantage.
- Comfort with systems for inventory management (training provided on SPM).
Qualifications and Education
- A full New Zealand driver's licence (essential).
- Relevant training or certifications in logistics, warehousing, or workplace safety are advantageous but not required.
