Corys Electrical is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to join our Auckland-based Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on analysis, collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across financial processes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, project reviews, reconciliations, and cost-benefit analysis
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and processing invoices and payments
  • Performing daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Partner with non-finance stakeholders to provide financial support and achieve successful business outcomes

What you bring:

  • 2–3 years' experience in finance administration or a similar role
  • Accounting or Finance qualification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Proven experience with bank reconciliations
  • Well organised with strong time management skills
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement
  • Experience in a similar finance role is highly desirable
