About The Job
Join our Team
We are seeking a skilled Hoist Driver to join our high performing team at our busy Auckland Depot. We are looking for a team player and those who want to take their hoist operating skills to the next level by operating our 50 tonne container handlers. Previous container hoist operator experience is preferred but not essential however you must have confidence working with heavy machinery.

Night Shift Hoist Driver

Location:
Onehunga, Auckland

Hours:
Monday to Friday 5.00pm – 4.00am, additional hours available for those who are wanting them.

This is a full-time permanent position with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, the hours required for the job 50 hours.

What You'll Do:

  • Supporting ground functions by moving containers around the yard as required
  • Communicating in a clear and co-operative manner using RT communication
  • Driving a single or double stacker container hoist, assisting with container stacking to a maximum height of 8 high (max rated capacity: 45,000kg)
  • Loading/unloading of trucks and work areas as required
  • Ensuring all health and safety procedures are always adhered to

What We Need
To be a successful candidate will be punctual, reliable and have a strong work ethic all essential attributes for success in this role.

  • Full NZ Class 1 License (essential)
  • Class 2 License (Preferred, but not essential)
  • Industry experiences driving heavy vehicles and confidence working in heavy machinery (essential)
  • Demonstrated focus on Zero Harm and always working safely
  • Flexible and adaptive to your work environment to work over other company sites as required (essential)
  • Team player with the ability to work well with others
  • Clear communicator with RT
