The Role

D3 is seeking an experienced Paid Social Manager to lead paid social strategy and execution for a major Education client across Australia and New Zealand. You'll bring a deep understanding of Meta Ads alongside experience across Snap, TikTok, and Pinterest combining media strategy, platform innovation, and automation through Hunch dynamic creative to drive measurable performance form awareness through to conversion.

This role is ideal for someone with previous agency experience who lives and breathes social platforms - balancing creativity and performance. You'll combine data-driven optimisation with platform fluency, translating insights into impactful social strategies that resonate with students and educators alike.

You'll collaborate closely with client partners, media strategists, and creative teams to develop best-in-class social advertising campaigns that not only meet KPIs but also shape long-term growth strategies for one of the region's largest education brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and manage paid social campaigns primarily across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), with additional focus on TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
  • Develop audience and creative strategies tailored to funnel stages and student lifecycle journeys.
  • Execute full-funnel social media strategies leveraging platform tools, automation, and data signals to optimise for reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Act as a key client contact — leading WIPs, presenting performance insights and recommendations, troubleshooting platform or tracking issues, and building strong day-to-day relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on content and creative direction, ensuring assets align with channel best practices and client objectives.
  • Monitor, optimise, and report on performance metrics including CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, CPL and engagement rate.
  • Deliver actionable insights through campaign analysis and testing frameworks to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Advise on emerging platform opportunities and innovations to keep the client's social presence at the forefront of digital media.
  • Manage client communication, providing clear and confident recommendations during WIPs and planning sessions.
  • Work cross-functionally with analytics, media, and creative teams to ensure campaigns deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Bring

  • 3–4 years' experience in Paid Social campaign management within a media agency environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, including audience targeting, ad formats, optimisation, KPI's and measurement.
  • Hands-on experience with TikTok Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads, and Pinterest Ads, with proven results across upper and mid-funnel activity.
  • Strong understanding of social strategy, creative best practices, and full-funnel performance marketing.
  • Ability to interpret data from platform dashboards and analytics tools (GA4, Meta Insights, Looker etc.) to inform recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn insights into stories that influence client decisions.
  • Experience managing large-scale campaigns or enterprise level clients with multi-market responsibilities (AU/NZ experience preferred).
  • Experience managing and activating first-party audiences from within a Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
