An exciting opportunity exists for a **Partner Development Manager **working within the Microsoft team at Dicker Data.

The role of the **Microsoft **Partner Development Manager** is to manage reseller partners based across the upper North Island, providing solutions based on Microsoft technology (Hardware and Software), and identifying opportunities to up-sell, cross-sell, and support complementary offers.

**General Responsibilities**
- Develop business plans with partners and proactively manage Pipeline opportunities.
- Continuous upskilling and training on Dicker Data and Microsoft tools, systems, and certification.
- Liaise with Specialist BDMs and Product Support Specialists to resolve customer issues and provide sales and technical training.
- Provide weekly reporting on partner activities and progress.
- Promote, deliver, and help coordinate Microsoft and Dicker Data product-specific events and workshops
- Support Marketing planning activities for the Microsoft Business Unit.
- Create & deliver content for the Dicker Data Microsoft Microsite e.g. blogs, webinars, vlogs, and partner enablement workshops.
- Provide custom reporting as required for Partners.
- Attend all Microsoft team meetings.
- Enable partners to build and drive the demand of higher-value Microsoft SKUs

**To be successful, you will have/be**:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience working within the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in selling/quoting/supporting Microsoft Cloud Products.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in selling Devices preferable (Preferably Windows-based Devices)
- Proven customer service and sales skills, someone who takes pride in your work.
- Team player, with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Natural Problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to obtain relevant Microsoft licensing and Surface certification is essential

This role will be based in Parnell but also involves visits to resellers in the upper North Island.
