Wholesale & Payouts Officer - Automotive Finance Company

On my client's behalf, we are looking for a Wholesale and Payouts Officer to ensure loan contracts are processed in a prompt, professional manner within company policy and principles within a large Automotive finance and leasing company.
Here is an opportunity for someone who is experienced in Loan Settlements, Payouts, disbursements or has Accounts Payable/Receivables experience within the finance industry to join a fantastic dedicated and busy team. My client is a fast-growing, progressive, and a well-respected business renowned for providing an excellent working environment. The hours for this position are Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm. The Sunday hours can be worked from home but the remainder is office based on site.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the daily checking/activation of loan & lease agreements in line with acceptance standards and approval conditions.
- Activate agreements in line with the Anti-Money Laundering legislation.
- Advise Dealers/retention team if any information is incomplete/missing and follow up where necessary to ensure this is promptly received.
- Ensure the Personal Properties Security Register (PPSR) is perfected.
- Process and send daily payout advice to all parties.
- Check and activate variation and extension contracts in conjunction with the Variations Officer
- Update customer, vehicle, and bank account information when required.
- Assist the Payouts Team Leader when required.
- Ensure accurate daily processing of new and used vehicle files.
- Ensure accurate daily processing of lease-end disposals.
- Prepare and process Dealer requests for drawdowns or repayments.
- Ensure accurate processing of dealer payments by reconciling entries.
- Maintain and balance accounts using excel spreadsheets and associated systems.
- Ensure all invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or administration role from within a finance company or banking environment.
- Accounts payable experience is preferred.
- Exposure to general ledger and receivable systems is preferred.
- Previous lending experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience.
- Computer literate including intermediate word and excel.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Accurate with methodical attention to detail.
- Proficient data entry skills.
- Ability to work Sunday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm.
- Must be residing in NZ with residency as sponsorship is not available.
