He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We're looking for confident and customer-focused Bar Tenders/Assistants to join our team at the Air New Zealand International Lounge in Auckland Airport. In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the bar, serving premium beverages and creating memorable guest experiences. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment where professionalism and attention to detail are key. This is a Permanent Part-Time position with minimum 16 hours per week. You MUST be available to work during weekends

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Operate the bar including setup, service, and close-down procedures.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, ensuring compliance with RSA standards.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and hygiene, including equipment and public areas.
• Deliver warm, professional customer service and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Manage bar stock, including ordering, rotation, and minimising wastage.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate and experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and time management skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible approach with a commitment to high standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
