We are a locally owned hospitality group with 3 venues in the Auckland area (Ponsonby, Auckland CBD & Central Auckland), and we are currently seeking a talented duty manager to join our team. This position is for the **Lucky 8 on Ponsonby road**.

As a Bar & Floor person, you will be responsible for serving all customers at the bar and within the venue in a courteous and professional manner at all times while contributing to a safe and enjoyable environment to work in. The Bar & Floor person is required to provide an unforgettable experience for our customers, they are to image our company at all time. Tasks include but is not limited to seating guests, making recommendations, explaining the service style & items on offer, ordering & ensuring your guests are well looked after among other side duties, clearing empty plates & glasses off tables, resetting tables in a timely manner to accommodate your next guests. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of self presentation, cleanliness of the venue at all times to reflect the brand, and safety in the venue for guests as well as staff.
- Strong interest & some knowledge of Asian cuisine
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- A passion for hospitality & excellence
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to speak or understand Chinese would be very helpful

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $23.50 - $26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
