He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are seeking a Bar Supervisor to join our team at a prestigious airline lounge in Auckland International Airport. In this role, you'll lead a team of food and beverage professionals, ensuring exceptional service and responsible alcohol delivery. You'll oversee bar operations, maintain high standards of presentation and hygiene, and contribute to a memorable guest experience. This is a Permanent Full Time position rostered across the 7 days of the week.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Supervise and support bar staff during shifts, including task allocation and service assistance.
• Operate and manage the bar, including drink preparation, service, and stock control.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol and support team compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked bar and public areas.
• Deliver warm, professional customer service and resolve guest queries or complaints.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Proven leadership experience in a bar or hospitality setting, ideally within premium environments.
• Strong understanding of beverage service, including cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• Holds a General Manager's Certificate and NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168).
• Excellent communication, team management, and customer service skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, with a commitment to high grooming standards.
