Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
We are looking for a detailed oriented and proactive Asset Information Technician to join our team. This role provides critical support to the Contract Manager and wider project teams by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project data, documentation, and quality assurance processes.
You'll be responsible for collating and entering as built data into RAMM for asset info improvement, managing documentation, conducting site audits, and assisting with pricing and client communication. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, an eye for details, and a collaborative mindset who thrives in a dynamic civil infrastructure environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Collate as built and renewals information into RAMM for Client data needs.
- Proactively manage missing asset information in RAMM and add correct data into NZTA SH Database (this will be a large function of the work initially)
- Maintain QA procedures and documentation in line with company and clients' standards
- Carry out site measurements and as built drawings
- Liaise with client representatives to ensure clear communication and timely resolution issues
- Assist in preparation of monthly updating and assist with job completion and project documentation
- Support the management of contract variations and subcontractor agreements and month claim processes.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety performance on all projects

Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline
Experience in RAMM or similar asset management systems
Strong understanding of civil construction or infrastructure maintenance environments
Proficiency in data entry, reporting, and documentation management
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with clients and internal teams
A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
