Blade Technician

SRG Global is a specialist industrial asset maintenance provider. We work on large and exciting jobs from bridges to large industrial plants and other key infrastructure. You'll work in some amazing locations, and across a broad range of sectors including construction, mining, petrochemical, roads, rail, water, power and ports.

We are looking for Blade Technicians to join our Wellington based team to work on Wind Turbines on Wind Farms in multiple locations around New Zealand including the following Manawatu, Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Southland, Waikato and Northland.

Blade Technicians primary duty will be carrying out rope access wind turbine and blade repairs on wind farms.

Applicants should:

• Have GWO Blade repair or Siemens Blade B
• GWO Basic Safety training
• Experience with fibre glass repair
• LEP installation (desirable)
• 2 years + experience in a similar role
• Rope Access qualification (IRATA)
• Be a team player and understand the importance of teamwork
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Familiar and compliant with industry personal protective requirements
• Understanding of HSE responsibilities
• Authorised Technician (desirable)
