Warehouse and Delivery Person

Tilemax Hamilton (T/A Tiles on Devon) is a leading tile and surface supplier, proudly New Zealand owned and operated. We are known for delivering exceptional products and service to both retail and trade customers. We are currently seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse & Delivery Person to join our Hamilton team.

About the Role

This full-time position involves managing the efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse, completing timely and accurate deliveries, and supporting our trade customers as required.

A key part of this role includes hand-delivering and stacking tile orders safely on site — attention to detail, care with handling, and good physical fitness are essential. You'll take pride in representing Tiles on Devon professionally while ensuring customers receive their products in perfect condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock control and ordering
• Receive, check, and organise incoming stock
• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
• Safely load, deliver, and hand-stack tile orders on site
• Maintain warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Assist trade customers with order collections and enquiries as required
• Support general showroom and warehouse operations as needed

Skills and Experience

• Current forklift licence (essential)
• Full New Zealand driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or trade supply environments (preferred)
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform manual lifting and outdoor deliveries
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliable, self-motivated, and professional in presentation and conduct
• Confident using/learning sales and inventory systems
