About the Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Accountant to support our client with key financial functions and ensure the accuracy of financial data and reporting. This role suits someone with strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You'll be responsible for reconciliations, financial data analysis, wash-up and adjustments, costing, and calculations, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank and account reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
  • Conduct financial data analysis and ensure integrity across all reporting
  • Manage wash-up and adjustment processes to maintain accurate financial records
  • Handle costing, calculations, and general accounting tasks
  • Utilise Excel and data management tools for analysis and reporting
  • Support month-end and year-end accounting activities

About You:

  • Intermediate-level accounting experience (New Zealand experience preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups)
  • Proven experience inreconciliations, costing, and data management
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
