To lead and grow the café by driving sales, improving customer experience, promoting the venue for private functions and events and building strong connections within the local community. The Café Manager will oversee daily operations, staff performance and service quality while using creativity and business insight to increase revenue and brand reputation.

Key resppnsibilites:

  • Identify and implement strategies to increase daily sales and overall café revenue.
  • Promote the café as a venue for private functions, meetings, catering, and community events.
  • Create and execute marketing and promotional campaigns (social media, local advertising, loyalty programs).
  • Analyse sales reports to identify trends, set weekly/monthly sales targets, and track performance.
  • Explore partnership opportunities with local schools, clubs, and businesses to attract new customers and group bookings.
  • Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest has a positive experience.
  • Maintain a welcoming and vibrant café atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
  • Oversee menu presentation, quality, and consistency of all food and beverages.
  • Work closely with kitchen and barista teams to maintain standards and develop new food and drink ideas that suit local tastes and seasons.
  • Demonstrate strong barista knowledge and be able to train staff in espresso preparation, latte art and coffee presentation.
  • Actively engage with the local community and businesses to build brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Collaborate on social media content, local promotions, and in-store marketing displays.
  • Represent the café at community or business networking events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
