The Hill Pukekohe is a new retirement village and is about to commence construction in Stage 1. This village will be equipped with 115 independent homes, communal facilities such as Health Spa, Clubhouse, Cafe, Care Residence and more. We are looking for the right person to join the construction team.
About the Role:
We are looking for an Earthworks Operator to join our hardworking team. This role is an opportunity to join the team on wages and would suit someone who is looking for variety. The successful candidate will be completing a wide and varying range of tasks such as:
Key Responsibilities:
- Bulk Earthworks – Various machines
- Digging sub-soils
- Undercutting roads
- Strip and prep house pads
- Dig out around finished homes for gardens
- Assist with maintaining and cleaning vehicles and machinery
- Assist with maintaining access roads, temp carparks, and site yard
- Assist with maintaining site, eg, sweeping roads and access ways etc
- Assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager with any other things you may be tasked with
Ideal Candidate:
- A full driver's licence including their Class 4 (preferred but not essential)
- WTR
- 2+ years experience operating 5-20 excavators, bulldozers, tractors & skidsteers
- Experience operating GPS Excavators would be beneficial
