Are you passionate about combining traditional dental artistry with cutting-edge digital dental technology?

Esthetic Dental Ceramics (EDC) are looking for a talented Digital Dental Technician to join our team . This role is full time 40 hours per week role based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

What you'll do:

  • Create high-quality ceramic dental restorations (crowns, bridges, implants, and aesthetic cases).
  • Design using dental CAD/CAM (3Shape and / or Exocad) and fabricate fixed and implant dental restorations .
  • Capabilities with 3D printing to design and manufacture models.
  • Ceramic work including stain, glazing, and finishing techniques for outstanding aesthetic results.
  • Collaborate with dentists and the wider lab team to deliver excellence.
  • Support the laboratory with management of workflow and general office related matters

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in dental ceramics and digital dental design.
  • Strong ceramic skills with a keen eye for colour and detail.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM workflows (scanning, design, milling, printing).
  • A team player who takes pride in craftsmanship and precision.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English language.
  • A proactive self starter with a can do attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills and work ethic.
