About the role:

The Portfolio Manager supports SCTI to translate strategy into action and deliver strategic change as well as enterprise change with an eye on ensuring the business achieves its goals. The portfolio manager is the lead for management of benefits and delivering the monitoring capabilities on portfolio performance, resources available vs required and impact on the organisation if/when any enterprise change occurs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the improvements and maturation of the project tool, incl the development of best practice, methodologies and frameworks that support the tool adoption
  • Develop and implement strategies, tools, process for the continuous monitoring, reporting and evaluation of projects across the portfolio
  • Provide coaching, mentoring to Project managers
  • Lead departmental improvement initiatives and innovation projects
  • Evaluate and implement new processes, systems and technologies
  • Ensure departmental services meet customer expectations and SLAs
  • Implement customer feedback and drive service improvements

About you:

We are seeking a highly experienced project and portfolio management professional with a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives within large or multifaceted organisations. In this role, you will take ownership of ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality. You'll play a key role in driving alignment across multiple projects coordinating resources, and proactively identifying and managing risks. Collaboration will be central to your success, as you'll work closely with key stakeholders across the business to ensure projects meet organisational priorities and deliver meaningful outcomes.

Experience Required

  • Leadership / management experience
  • 10 + years Project portfolio knowledge
  • Experience in resource management
  • Benefit Management
  • Working knowledge of PPM tools
  • Experience in Enterprise change management
