**Role Overview**
As the Programme Manager, you will spearhead the implementation of a key regulatory act, playing a critical role in aligning the bank’s operations with evolving compliance requirements. This role demands a unique blend of expertise in banking regulation, programme management, and strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities
**Lead Regulatory Initiatives**: Drive the implementation of a key regulatory act, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic objectives and compliance standards.
**Strategic Program Management**: Plan, execute, and oversee the program lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
**Stakeholder Engagement**: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to facilitate smooth implementation and compliance.
**Risk Management**: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the program, ensuring robust contingency planning.
**Team Leadership**: Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:
**Relevant Experience**: Proven track record in programme management within the banking sector, specifically in regulatory compliance or related areas.
**Banking Industry Knowledge**: Deep understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and the financial industry landscape, AML compliance knowledge highly favourable
**Leadership Skills**: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving successful programme outcomes.
**Strategic Thinking**: Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with a focus on delivering results within a complex regulatory environment.
**Communication Proficiency**: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
