About the role:

The business analyst is a key member of the Project team that plays a key role in defining business requirements by working together with the project manager, business and Stakeholders

As part of the PMO team, the Business Analyst also supports governance and delivery frameworks, ensuring consistency in working practices and alignment with organisational strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Analysing and optimising business processes
  • Work with the PMO team on governance frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes
  • Creating project documentation, dashboards, and portfolio reports
  • Risk and issue management, including mitigation strategies

About you:

You're a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong ability to elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements. You excel at analysing and optimising business processes to improve efficiency and outcomes, and you're experienced working within PMO governance frameworks to ensure projects are well-structured and compliant.

Experience Required

  • 5 years of business analysis experience across diverse projects
  • Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies
  • Skilled in analysing and optimising business processes
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering
  • Experience with PPM tools to help PMO team to deliver the consistency in project reporting
  • Knowledge of risk and issue management, including mitigation strategies
  • Hands-on experience with business analysis tools (JIRA, Confluence, Visio)

Desirable:

  • Financial Services or adjacent services experience.
