Clinical Coordinator – Woburn Home
  • Step into a Leadership role
  • Training and support + career development
  • Great employee benefits

Mō mātou - About us –

Together, we make a lasting difference.

When you join Presbyterian Support Central (PSC), you're becoming part of something truly special, a not-for-profit organisation that's been helping people for more than 115 years.

Everything we do is about supporting people at the most vulnerable times of their lives, whether that's an older person needing care and connection, or a family working through tough times.

Residents and visitors to Enliven's Woburn Home love it's relaxed and engaging atmosphere that leaves you feeling warm and assured. Woburn Home is Enliven Central's largest Home, but it doesn't feel that way – it's very neighbourly, that's partly due to the friendly staff and residents.

Mō te tūranga  - About the role

The Clinical Coordinator at Woburn Home will support the Home Manager and Clinical Nurse Manager to provide a safe environment for residents and staff. Their focus is on effective day to day co-ordination and supervision of resident care, and provision of professional leadership and support to the RNS, ENs and Healthcare Assistants.

The Clinical Coordinator will actively function as a clinical leader and take responsibility for clinical decisions while motivating staff to use initiative in problem solving.

Working as a part of the senior clinical team, you will need to be flexible to provide on-call cover on a shared basis to ensure there is always senior RN cover available. The clinical team work closely together, and you will be well supported to deliver high standards of clinical care to our residents.

The role is based at Woburn Home and will offer 10-hour dayshifts, 4 days per week, with some weekend work required.  Whilst hours are regular there may be times when flexibility is required to meet the needs of the residents.

Mō koe - About you

As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect.

You will be an instrumental person in fostering the right environment for everyone to enjoy a safe and healthy home to live or work, where residents are at the centre of our decision making and staff work together to achieve positive outcomes for people.

In addition, you will:

  • Be an experienced RN, ready to take the next step in their career.
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in Aged care
  • Support the team to deliver quality of care and outcomes for our Elders
  • Foster strong positive working relationships with other team members, residents and their whānau
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Nursing is preferred, but not essential.
