About the Role
Right now, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support our departments and services as a Porter at Whangārei Hospital. You will play a vital role in ensuring all porter tasks and requests from the Head Porter or Supervisor are carried out promptly, helping to maintain smooth and continuous operations.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week on a shift roster. You will work throughout the hospital campus, interacting with a wide range of people across the services.

About you
We are looking for a reliable, proactive team player with a strong work ethic and a calm, helpful attitude. Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment, you will need to be physically fit and able to meet the requirements of the role.
Key requirements:
- Current class 1 NZ drivers licence
- Secondary education
- Experience working in a customer related service
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
