We're looking for a customer-focused, confident, and aspirational veterinarian to join our team as a Professional Services Veterinarian . In this exciting role, you'll:

Educate and inspire veterinary professionals across New Zealand, elevating standards of care through training and support.

Drive innovation by promoting IDEXX's cutting-edge diagnostic solutions that empower clinics to deliver exceptional care.

The role of the Professional Services Veterinarian is to:

Consult with practice owners and veterinarians (predominately face to face) on medical standards and diagnostic protocols to enhance the standard of care they provide to their clients

Provide education, training and support to veterinarians and key clients, which positively influence their patient outcomes

Collaborate with and enhance the skills of the IDEXX team, provide technical training in relation to diagnostic education

Represent IDEXX to key customers, Key Opinion Leaders and organisations across the veterinary industry

Representing IDEXX as an expert speaker at professional meetings and conferences.

Support the medical message and positioning of our products including writing technical articles and reviewing promotional materials.

Proactive development and provision of technical and medical information for the marketing team to support the strategy, and achievement of budget.

The successful candidate

A tertiary degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent

Registered veterinarian in New Zealand or Australia

A minimum 3+ years' experience in veterinary practice is ideal

Knowledge and a passion of IDEXX products and services with the ability to communicate effectively

Veterinary industry or commercial experience is highly regarded

Experience and a passion for training and education

Experience in diagnostic veterinary pathology is highly regarded

Self-motivated, ability to prioritise and able to work within a team environment as well as independently

Ability to travel extensively within the designated region
