About the role
Mt Erin Ltd is seeking a dedicated HR & Admin Specialist to join our dynamic team in Hastings, Hawkes Bay on a part-time or fixed term basis. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive HR support to our growing organisation, ensuring we maintain best-in-class people practices and foster a positive, engaging work environment.
What you'll be doing
- Providing end-to-end HR support, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and learning and development
- Partnering with managers to identify and address people-related challenges and opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment legislation and internal policies
- Implementing HR initiatives and projects that drive employee engagement and organisational effectiveness
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and data
- Supporting the payroll function and assisting with additional admin duties as required
What we're looking for
- 2+ years' HR experience, ideally in a consulting or in-house role
- Excellent knowledge of HR best practices
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
