Our market-leading corporate/commercial team is looking for an experienced senior lawyer with strong contracting experience to join our Wellington team. We will also consider candidates living in the Auckland region. Your contracting experience to date can be from any industry sector or speciality, including infrastructure, technology, construction, joint ventures and general commercial contracts.

This senior role will involve primarily working on significant national public sector projects. As a senior lawyer in a team advising on cutting edge PPP (Public Private Partnership) contracts, significant infrastructure projects and technology projects, you will be heavily involved in drafting and negotiations. You will join an established team at the top of the market and have opportunities to develop your legal skills and build relationships in an inclusive and supportive team environment.

Experience and qualifications

  • 7+ years PQE, including private practice and/or in-house.
  • Strong commercial contracting experience.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and client service skills.
  • Right to work in New Zealand.
