Join us as a Visitor Centre Educator and play a vital role in bringing the rich history and significance of the Governor-General and Government House to life

The role is part-time role (20 hours per week: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday).

You will report to the Team Leader Engagement and Communications at Government House Wellington and will work closely with other Visitor Centre and Communications Advisory staff.

The Visitor Centre runs education programmes and tours that encompass the role of the Governor-General and the history and stories of Government House.

In this role, you will be required to present as a versatile and engaging communicator who can work with visitors ranging in age from pre-schoolers through to senior citizens. When not working with tour groups, you will undertake administrative and archiving tasks, in addition to supporting other teams at Government House in delivering the Governor-Generals programme of engagements.

This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) and includes occasional weekend work.

The salary range for this position starts from $69,636 to $73,504 p/annum including KiwiSaver contributions and appointment will depend on demonstrable skills and experience.
