We're growing our Wellington education team and are looking for an experienced recruiter who brings both energy and maturity* - someone who loves the buzz of recruitment, is proactive and driven, and can help shape the future direction of a team in transition.

You'll own a portfolio across schools and early childhood, with the flexibility to work across sectors (Primary, Secondary, ECE or OSHC) as the team evolves. This is a 360 temporary recruitment role, spanning sourcing, onboarding, and relationship management through to existing account management and new client development.

What you'll do

• Build strong educator pipelines through proactive sourcing and relationship management

• Manage your portfolio end-to-end, from attraction and onboarding through to placements and client partnerships

• Drive business development with schools and centres across the Wellington region

• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes while helping shape the team's next chapter

• Structure your day with purpose and pace, balancing service, sales, and system discipline

What you'll bring

• Proven recruitment experience (agency or internal) - ideally in a service-oriented or education-related field

• High energy, initiative, and the resilience to thrive in a changing environment

• Professionalism, empathy, and the ability to engage clients and candidates with confidence

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• A strong work ethic, values-led mindset, and appetite for growth

• Full working rights in New Zealand, a valid driver's licence, and ability to obtain a Police Vetting Check

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early starts (from 6:30am) and later finishes (up to 6:30–7pm)
