Comhla Vet is seeking to appoint an experienced executive for the role of Regional Director – Southern Region, overseeing a strategically significant portfolio comprising Vet South, and West Coast Vets.
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to drive regional performance, shape the future of veterinary services in New Zealand through the creation of an enduring and sustainable structure' and contribute meaningfully to Comhla's national impact in the veterinary sector. As a key leader in the business, you will be entrusted with advancing our long-term strategy, cultivating a high-performance culture, and delivering sustainable growth across a diverse and dynamic region.
The Opportunity | Strategic Scope and Influence
- Lead Regional Strategy and Execution: Translate Comhla's group-wide strategic vision into actionable regional plans, ensuring alignment, excellence, and measurable outcomes.
- Empower and Develop Clinics: Provide executive oversight and mentorship to Hub Managers, fostering leadership capability and cross-functional collaboration across clinical, cultural, and commercial domains.
- Drive Regional Growth: Identify and capitalise on opportunities to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and client/community engagement.
- Champion Culture and Community Connection: Build a region where people feel connected, supported, and inspired to succeed, while deepening relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
- Ensure Commercial and Operational Excellence: Oversee financial performance, workforce planning, compliance, and health & safety, ensuring resilience, accountability, and long-term viability.
