While run by local shareholders who live and work in the communities they serve, we are also proud to be part of a larger New Zealand owned veterinary businesses, servicing communities with over 40 clinics throughout New Zealand and Australia.

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our business as a new Hub Manager, supporting our West Coast clinics. Our ideal candidate would be based in Greymouth with regular travel required to Hokitika; a company branded vehicle will be provided to support this. This role is well supported by a team based in Invercargill, providing resources in IT, Operations, Finance, HR and Marketing.

The Role:

  • Working with local shareholders and staff on strategies to ensure our clinics are meeting budget and business plan objectives
  • Developing strategies to grow our business and develop our people
  • Where appropriate, meet with key customers to ensure we continue to provide a high level of service
  • Recruiting to ensure we have the right staffing levels to meet high demand periods of the year
  • Ensuring our clinics and staff are operating in a safe manner

What you will bring to our business:

  • A clinical background is not required for this role, but experience in managing small, high functioning teams is key
  • Strong business acumen: managing budgets and developing business plans alongside shareholders is a key function of this role.
  • The ability to work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff to build strong teams to serve our community and meet our business needs
