THE ROLE

As a Security Technician your role will include electronic security installations, reactive and planned service work, commissioning on our corporate and government sites.

The role is a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

You'll also participate in a rotating on-call roster to ensure 24/7 availability for prompt response and support to our customers, with reasonable compensation paid for availability and callouts.

You'll be working with leading-edge security technology and have the opportunity to develop your career to the highest level.  We offer a great team environment where our people are valued and recognised.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

As you'd expect, technical skills are important.

We value your electrical background, problem-solving skills, and technical aptitude.

Equally vital though will be your ability to strike up a conversation and communicate well with both clients and colleagues.

We're looking for:

  • Registered Electrician or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for learning new technology
  • Interest in IT systems and networking
  • Good written and verbal communication, with good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Accurate and methodical work habits, a strong work ethic, and reasonable fitness.
  • Clean criminal record and NZ Driver's License.
