Aotea Security have an exciting opportunity for a Security Technician to join their team servicing the Central Otago region. Aotea Security is New Zealand's largest and most trusted electronic security company, with over 200 employees in 17 locations across New Zealand.

Aotea Security design, develop & install solutions for electronic security by integrating access control, intruder detection, and closed-circuit television systems. Our metropolitan and provincial locations cover the full breadth of New Zealand, providing Managed Client Services, Responsive and Preventative Maintenance, Design, Installation and Enterprise Support. We can also provide Guard, Cash and Monitoring services through our long-term partners.

We have a great opportunity for the right candidate to join our team and develop in the Security Industry. The role will include installation and commissioning of electronic security systems for our clients.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • 5+ Years in the electronic security industry
  • Experience in Gallagher, Tecom, Integriti or Protege Access Control Systems
  • Experience in CCTV systems including Milestone, Avigilon or Genetec systems
  • Experience with IT systems and networking
