**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

ATWC have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a full-time Family Harm Co-ordinator. This role is part of our developing response to Family Harm and is part of our Whanau Intensive Intervention team.

Primarily based at the Multi-Disciplinary Family Harm Prevention Hub Te Taanga Manawa in Manukau and working collaboratively as part of a Multi-Agency Response to the prevention and reduction of Family Harm. Receiving referrals from the Safety Assessment Meeting table you will assess, navigate pathways, and connect individuals and whanau with appropriate supports. Developing and maintaining networks with agencies that can support Tauiwi Whānau impacted by family harm will be an important component to this role. You will also set up new systems and provide reports in support of the work done.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- An understanding of the complex dynamics of family violence
- An understanding of the impact of trauma, addictions, & mental health is preferred
- Exceptional relationship building and networking skills
- Effective communication skills
- A can-do attitude and with proven problem-solving skills
- Resilient and an agile thinker
- Knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- A full and current clear driver’s licence

**Desired attributes**:

- Knowledge and experience in working with diverse cultures
- Experience working within social work or similar type
- Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
