**About the Role - Korero mo te Turanga**

This role leads internal audit reviews across MPI's diverse business units, offering varied and interesting work. You'll manage a small team, build strong relationships across the business, and engage with Directors and Deputy Director Generals. The work is well-paced and planned, with SLT approving the audit programme biannually.

You'll have time to think strategically, support others to grow, and shape the team's direction. The senior leadership team is engaged and supportive, creating a positive environment where your work is valued. This role suits someone with leadership experience and strong internal audit expertise.

We're a Wellington-based team of six including the manager's role, with recruitment underway for a Principal Adviser and another Senior Adviser. We're collaborative, supportive, and focused on building a high-performing team that continues to be well-regarded across MPI.
