Our client is in expansion mode and is looking for an Operations Manager to work in the commercial and industrial construction sector. This is a permanent full-time position constructing buildings all over the Auckland region.
**What we offer**:

**Your duties will include, but are not limited to**:
- Supervising and coordinating equipment use and construction workers on site
- Working to a budget, deadlines and specified quality standards
- Coordinate deliveries
- Problem solve as needed
- Communication with project manager and other stakeholders
- Provide directors with project updates
- Work on site and adapt to changing project requirements
- Liaising with council and different sub-contractors across various sites
**The ideal person will ideally have**:
- Level 4 certificate in carpentry is required
- 10 years of practical experience in carpentry within construction industry
- Proven experience as a foreman or in a supervisory role, with references
- Proficient in reading and interpreting plans/specifications
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in Filipino considered a serious advantage
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
