The Business Banking Planning & Performance Consultant role is a newly formed role designed to help shape and develop the strategy and future aspirations of Business Banking at Kiwibank.

In this role you will support the Head of Business Banking Planning & Performance in the development of the strategic roadmap and work closely with stakeholders to ensure strategic objectives are effectively understood, progressed, and ultimately delivered. You will provide strategic analysis and insights on initiatives to support the plays that will drive our strategy.

You will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives to deliver good customer outcomes by identifying and solving complex business problems, formulating business cases, providing financial analysis and holding initiative owners to account on key milestones to help us stay on track to deliver on our strategy.

This is a small team that provides advice and support to the Chief Customer Office - Business and the Business Banking Leadership Team.

This is a varied role that will provide breadth in experience and opportunities to gain experience across many disciplines and facets of Kiwibank and Business Banking. So, having a commercial mindset, being proactive, demonstrating curiosity, and having a disciplined approach will contribute to your success here.

Your strategic analysis and critical thinking in cutting through complex business problems will be evident in your proven strategy execution experience. Your strong analytical and financial modelling skills will be critical for developing financial models, data analysis, customer and channel segmentation modelling to support and enable business planning.

And strong stakeholder engagement and management will be key to connecting to the right people across the business to ensure Business Banking is enabled to deliver on our strategy. You will naturally have a curious and inquisitive mindset to look for and identify opportunities.

Ideally your experience will come from around 3-4 years in a Big 4 or Bank, or similar fast-paced commercial environments.
