**Mo te tunga | About the role**

As a Research and Insights Analyst at REA, you'll operate in a dynamic environment with significant regulatory, legislative and compliance implications for the real estate industry.

Your role will support the development and implementation of REA's research programme through the analysis of data, information and intelligence; the preparation of regular reporting and presentations; and desktop research to support REA's understanding of drivers of risk and to identify opportunities for improvement to our regulatory system.

This role supports the Education and Insights Manager with external research provider management and with activities, insights and reporting on issues of importance in the real estate sector, ensuring REA effectively delivers its regulatory mandate.

You'll have:

- A relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 2 years of experience working in research and/or data analysis
- Ability to translate data into sound advice that supports decision making
- Excellent numeracy, data analysis and reporting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using survey platforms
- Ability to collaborate across small teams
- Skills to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
