As a member of ASB's Financial Crime Operations team you will help protect ASB and its customers from the impact of Financial Crime. You will contribute in a meaningful way to the protection of Aotearoa New Zealand from organised crime, modern slavery, extreme right-wing groups, and other activity which places New Zealand at risk. We are looking for proactive and passionate team leaders to join our Sanctions Operations team at ASB on a permanent and fixed term basis. If you're driven by continuous improvement, customer outcomes, and leading with integrity, this could be your next big opportunity. **Mo te tūranga | About the Role**: - Lead day-to-day workflows and allocate resources to investigate financial crime in line with SLA's, thresholds, and legislation. - Foster a culture of strong risk behaviour and identify, manage, and escalate financial crime risks. - Ensure compliance with processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Oversee SOPs, embed changes into workstreams, and enhance operational efficiency. - Champion continuous improvement by validating and adapting workflows and customer experiences. - Empower and develop your team through coaching, individual development plans, and clear performance expectations. **Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau? | What do I need to be successful?** - Proven leadership experience in a small to medium Financial Crime Operations team. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Deep understanding of compliance, Financial Crime systems, and policies. - Exceptional customer service and quality commitment. - 5+ years in the financial services industry, ideally in a compliance or FCI environment. - Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred. **Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASB** In return, you will work for an organisation that places huge importance and focus on its people, where the sky is the limit for development and career opportunities.
