At ASB, we're committed to creating a place where our people thrive and grow. **Mō te tūranga | About the Role** As Risk Manager - Financial Crime Compliance, you'll support the Line 2 FCC Leadership Team in delivering an ambitious pipeline of work across AML/CFT, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Foreign Tax (FATCA and CRS), Fraud, Anti-Tax Evasion Facilitation (ATEF) and Sanctions. - Support the identification, management, and mitigation of key risks across all financial crime risk taxonomies: This includes proactively recognising threats across AML/CFT, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Foreign Tax (FATCA and CRS), Fraud, and Anti-Tax Evasion Facilitation (ATEF), and implementing controls to reduce exposure. - Identify and assess the impact of industry developments, regulatory changes, and policy updates: You'll be expected to evaluate how external changes affect ASB's risk and control profiles, ensuring the organisation remains compliant and resilient - Perform any other initiatives required by my Line Manager or the Head of Financial Crime Compliance **Ngā mea ka taea e koe | What you'll bring** - Deep knowledge of financial crime risks and financial services legislation and regulation. - Ability to identify and assess financial crime-related risks and trends across the bank. - Proven leadership and task delivery skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. - Confidence in stakeholder engagement and challenge. - Effective planning, organisation, and multitasking capabilities. **He aha tā mātou | What Can We Offer?** ASB is consistently ranked among New Zealand's best places to work.
