We are a Liquor & Beverage Company dedicated to sourcing the world's best Spirits, Liqueurs, Beer and Café supplies for the New Zealand market. We have numerous products that are the world’s most awarded and internationally renowned, plus we are always on the lookout for fantastic new brands for our portfolio. As our company is expanding, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing Specialist, to plan, develop and implement marketing programs to promote our products and services.

This is a full-time position but not a 9-5, Monday to Friday job. Weekend and evening tastings and events are a regular part of each month, with events such as Home & Amp; Lifestyle Shows, in-store tastings and other similar events being a part of the position. Some out-of-town travel is required for this role.

**Requirements**:

- Business-related bachelor's degree or higher, or at least five years of marketing/sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, beer, and wine preferred.
- Willingness to continually learn and develop.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A full, clean driver's license.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, develop and implement programs and activities to promote our brands and support sales objectives.
- Support business growth through the development and execution of marketing strategies.
- Identify market opportunities for new and existing products.
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns and events to enhance brand visibility and product promotion.
- Collaborate with the Director to establish strong relationships with clients.
- Visit regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on marketing opportunities.
- Collaborate in the production of advertising and promotion initiatives.
- Advise on all elements of marketing mix (product, pricing, promotion, selling, and distribution channels).

We Offer:

- Permanent, Full-time position.
- Hourly rate of $30 - $33, commensurate with individual experience.
- Working hours of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Supportive work environment.

A clean police record is required (you must be willing to submit to a police check). Drug testing is mandatory and ongoing.
