Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experience Level 2 System Engineer to join the team. Developing and maintaining strong professional working relationships with your colleagues, clients, and our IT suppliers will be critical to your success in this role.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Troubleshooting, managing, and resolving **Level 2 technical support,**hardware, software, and network tickets/issues.
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues, and report issues to the Service Desk for escalation.
- Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues, informing management of recurring problems.
- Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles.
- Monitor the Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process them based on priority.
- Assist with onboarding of new customers, administration, support, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of problems with PCs, software, and communications devices.
- Proactively propose enhancements and improvements to a client's infrastructure/environment.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.

**What we are looking for**:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant role with at least one year's experience working in a role with a Managed Service provider.
- A formal IT qualification is an advantage but not required - hands on experience is more necessary for these roles
- Microsoft 365 management including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Windows Desktop, and Server Administration, and a general understanding of networking
- A logical problem solver, who is organised at keeping documentation and records up to date and complete.
- Ability to demonstrate hands-on technical expertise and in-depth knowledge across various IT domains.
- A confident, clear, and precise communicator, both written and verbal.
- Able to engage with clients clearly, and in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, and adapt during the workday according to the requirements of clients and fellow staff.
- Positive, confident, compassionate, and understanding of both client's and colleague's changing needs.
