** Āu Mahi | What You Will Do**
Our Nursing Team within Te Kaupeka Oranga | the Faculty of Health is looking for colleagues to join us in continuing roles within our exciting Nursing programmes. Our Nursing programmes include our pre-registration Master of Health Sciences (Nursing) and advanced Nursing practice programmes. Our innovative programmes our delivered via blended delivery for students from throughout the South Island and beyond Our team work with the Assessment and Simulation Centre team at Nurse Maude delivering an Orientation and preparation course for internationally qualified nurses on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the year. Clinical Educators work on this course, in simulation and with our students in clinical placements. They work closely with the Nursing Clinical Co-ordinators and as member of the wider nursing academic team, to facilitate quality learning across a range of practice settings.
** Mōu| Who You Are**
Applicants will need to demonstrate the following characteristics:
- at least three years’ experience as a registered nurse in New Zealand
- advanced clinical assessment skills and recent clinical practice
- a commitment to high quality clinical learning and teaching
- flexibility and proven experience as an excellent team player
- competence in computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- an interest in contributing to and participating in research projects and other innovations
- active commitment to upholding the values, tikanga (protocols and processes), kawa (rules) of cultural practice and traditions as guided by mana whenua, Ngāi Tūāhuriri, and valuing te reo Māori

Te Kaupeka Oranga | Faculty of Health offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and research activities that respond to the dynamic nature of the health and sport sectors and their workforce. We offer undergraduate programmes in Sport, Health Sciences and Social Work as well as postgraduate programmes in Counselling, Child and Family Psychology, Nursing, Health Leadership as well as various population health and clinical endorsements within the Postgraduate Diploma and Master of Health Sciences. The Faculty offers exciting research and teaching opportunities and is located in the Rehua building, located in the heart of UC’s Ilam Campus with modern digital technologies and innovative learning and social spaces.
