We are a one on one tutoring service aiming to empower our students with a passion for learning. We strive to provide our students with the skills they need to achieve their goals, while also backing our tutors to reach their potential.

**We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable tutor to join our team in Hamilton.**
**Your tasks and duties will include**:

- Running engaging, one on one tutoring sessions with secondary school students
- Planning tutoring sessions to align with NCEA curriculum
- Providing regular feedback to parents/caregivers and the business owner
- Ensuring clients receive professional, friendly and prompt service
- Keen to work with secondary school students
- Confident in teaching up to Merit/Excellence in Level 3 Maths (including Calculus) and Sciences (including Chemistry and/or Physics)
- Available to work between 4pm - 7pm most weekdays
- Flexible in tutoring online or in person

Ideally, we are looking for someone who intends to continue tutoring through end of NCEA exams as we aim to have continuity for our students. We are looking for someone who has completed their NCEA qualifications in the last few years and is keen to share this experience with our students.

Excellent communication skills are a necessity for this role, as is having a high standard of professionalism. Previous tutoring or mentoring experience would be an advantage but is not essential. Tutoring training will be provided.

The location is in the CBD, so it is very accessible by public transport. Some tutoring sessions may also be held online, so you can work from home.
