**About the Role**
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist - Microbiology/Biochemistry, you will provide a high quality, innovative diagnostic laboratory service that meets the needs of our patients, consumers, and whānau. This role will have a large component of evening and midnight shifts to cover a 24/7 (Biochemistry/Microbiology) roster.

**About you**
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current annual practising certificate and registration with the New Zealand Medical Sciences Council, or eligibility to register with the Council.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 2-5 years of experience in a hospital-based laboratory setting.
- Experience, knowledge, or qualification in microbiology.
- Experience, knowledge, or qualification in molecular testing.
- Experience, knowledge, or qualification in biochemistry.
