**Product Manager - Role Description**
Tapi is known for being a disrupter in the world of Property Maintenance through their world leading suite of products in New Zealand and Australia. Tapi is on a mission to help write the next chapter of every property, better than it has ever been written. To become the world’s smartest property planner and largest service provider.
As Tapi expands its offering and scales globally, the product team plays a crucial role in Tapi’s success. The Product Manager is the champion of the product strategy and vision. They obsess over customers, working backwards from what customers need in order to create innovative solutions. They own the early life-stages of a product (vision, strategy, ideation, concept, design) working closely with partners, colleagues and customers.
Success is measured by growth in AMRPP (average monthly revenue per property), and supporting net property growth (acquisition and retention) by delivering features that maintain Tapi’s market-leading product position and improving the customer experience (NPS and engagement).
**What you’ll do**
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers, delving into their psyche through user feedback and conducting research to produce actionable customer insights. Present prototypes to customers for feedback and iteration.
- Keep an eye on competitors through regular market scans, competitor reporting and feature table comparisons, using this insight to support your understanding of the market opportunities and risks.
- Create the product’s vision and strategy (through product vision documents) working closely with the Executive team and business stakeholders.
- Clearly articulate customer value propositions, showing how they contribute to Tapi’s overall proposition, vision and goals.
- Engage with and secure partnerships to support your product strategy delivery.
- Champion the product to align the business, partners and other stakeholders around the product strategy and roadmap.
- Decide what features to build next based on customer and business value and optimise for delivery of value early and often.
- Work closely with the UX team to ensure the experience is designed around the value proposition, prioritising the benefits through feature and UX design.
- Collaborate and contribute to technical direction and best practice. Ensuring an understanding of the technical platform constraints and considering this as part of product scoping.
- Decide what features to build next based on customer and business value (roadmap).
- Ensure all products and features are measurable, dive into performance and behavioural data to support product optimisation, enhancements and reporting.
- Assist in the creation of product positioning and training information.
**Requirements**:
- Product management experience in a fast paced, technology business
- Understanding of product management theory and can practically apply
- Agile and Scrum experience
