Join our Procurement Policy, Capability, and Reporting team to shape the future of procurement at NZ Transport Agency - Waka Kotahi (NZTA). As a Senior Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining procurement policies, frameworks, and tools, while fostering capability across NZTA and Approved Organisations (Regional/Local Councils).

In this role, you'll research and implement innovative procurement practices to enhance performance, lead the development of user-friendly resources and frameworks, and provide expert advice on processes and best practices. You'll also play a key role in building procurement capability through education and training initiatives in collaboration with NZ Government Procurement and other stakeholders. Additionally, you'll monitor compliance, refine guidance based on lessons learned, and actively engage with industry bodies to stay ahead of emerging trends.

**Ō Pūmanawa I What we're looking for**
- Sound technical procurement experience, leading or supporting procurement and contract management.
- Experience in developing and implementing procurement improvement initiatives
- Relevant experience in the development of frameworks, processes and procedures.
- Experience in continuous improvement across procurement systems and processes
- Knowledge and practical experience in the provision of procurement advice to stakeholders
- Strong facilitation, training and coaching skills
- Well-developed commercial acumen
